From corporate to community services, Joanne enjoys helping businesses succeed. She had been a consultant in the Greater Los Angeles Area since 2004. She had helped turn around an ailing storage business to profitability and growth, setup the accounting system for a non-profit entity and migrate a local small business to a multinational ERP system overseas.
After graduating from the University of the Philippines with double degrees in business administration and accountancy, Joanne became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and worked for affiliates of the then Big 5 accounting firms in Manila. She later earned her Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation in one of the biggest multinational manufacturing conglomerates in the Philippines. She became a CTEC Registered Tax Preparer in 2009 and a California licensed CPA in 2014. She obtained her Centralized Authorization File (CAF) Number to represent taxpayers before the IRS in 2017. She completed her Master of Taxation degree with Certificate in State & Local Taxation at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2022.
